Call of Duty used to be better (A Highly Intellectual Rant)

Discussion

I'm an old school player, I've been playing Call of Duty ever since the first one came out in 2019 because all my friends in elementary school were playing Warzone. I'm very unique in this way as it gives my opinion more credence than yours because no one played Call of Duty before me.

It has broken my heart to see Call of Duty move away from what made it great. I used to be able to hide in a corner for the entire match and kill anyone who came into view, but I have been uniquely targeted by the Recon specialty which has made it very hard to stay in my corners without being shot by wallhackers through the walls with their wallhack guns. This is my entire playstyle, and I quit the second my K/D goes below one so I've been quitting so many matches that I don't think I'll ever even unlock ranked play due to this perk which is really unfair.

Call of Duty has never had skins up until this point, and I think I'm the first person who is brave enough to say enough is enough! These skins are too expensive! It's crazy they would demand money for something that should be free. This is about as stupid as selling a map pack. Imagine how dumb it would be if Call of Duty sold 5 map packs across their life spans! I should be allowed to turn these skins off, just as long as I can turn them back on once a sufficiently furry skin is released. I'm just tired of Call of Duty trying to be fortnite. I know Call of Duty didn't exist until after fortnite, but imagine if they were adding goofy skins like this to the game since before fortnite. That would be about as silly as fortnite launching without a battle royale mode.

Another thing, these servers are terrible. I play in a basement encased in concrete and my wifi router is in my parent's bedroom on the 18th floor. Wifi is the latest technology and when I do a speedtest I get 50 megawatts per second. Speed is the only metric you need, andthat is more than enough to watch The Acolyte on Disney+ in high definition, it should be more than enough to play call of duty but nooooooooooo, all I get is packet loss! The servers used to be better! I personally think it would be better if we used some type of network between consoles where a player is selected as the host, that way if I'm the host I can just leave the game when I'm losing and no one can play.

I'M A VERY ANGRY PERSON

This isn't satire, I don't have dementia, I don't know where I am, and I would like to go home.
