Couldn’t keep eye focused on light

Had first eye done last week. I was very nervous and have a hard time with anything touching my eyes . Had very mild IV sedation but was awake and aware of the whole procedure. Doctor repeatedly got frustrated as I couldn’t keep staring at the microscope light as instructed. I was doing my best .. I have my next surgery this coming week and I am now even more nervous. I feel like the doctor was so frustrated with me I wanted to cry . I am more scared now for the second. Will he opt for retrobulbar anesthesia since I couldn’t keep still ? Worried either way !
