Stuck in red with Jun

Ive been playing jun for the past few months and struggle in tenryu even though shes easy af but for some reason I got to purple ranks with dj and lee with ease. I learnt how to wavedash,electric, just frames quite fast and win much more with them than Jun for some reason. How does this make sense?
