Sales jobs
Hey Guys, just got a few questions on what people think are the best ways to get into high ticket sales. I already work in luxury sales and have had quite a year for myself. My numbers are astounding (not tryna brag) according to many people. I am in my early 20s. The thing is, I really believe I’m worth more than what the company is offering me. For example I work only 4 days a week and have worked for this company for 8 months and have pulled over 600,000 in sales on track to do 800,000 for the year. The units I sell are between 4k-15k so I’ve definitely sold a ton based on me only working 28 hours a week MAX, as well as only for 8 months. I make a good amount in commission, but my base rate is pretty shit. I understand for how much I work and the industry they are probably paying me fairly, but I want more. My goal is to have a base rate salary that is the same as what I’m making for my total salary right now (yearly).
It sounds pretty far fetched but I really want to get into something that’s crazy high ticket (like jets or yatchs or luxury cars) where I can have the ability to make that 150-200 a year. I also do understand many job positions just as these are very connections based, and it’s hard to get in unless you know someone, which sadly I don’t. I am also not Australian, moving from Canada a few years ago but have just gotten onto the PR since my partner who is Aussie sponsored me. As I said, I am quite young, so definitely don’t expect this, or think it is a right I should have have a job like this. Just curious what yall think the steps I should take are to get there. I know I have the skill, 10000% (again not trying to toot my own horn) since I am basically a born hyper extrovert and being articulate and persuasive comes naturally to me… plus I LOVE IT.
Cheers
