AITA for boxing in an old lady’s car then running away when she confronted me

On Black Friday my friends and I went to the busiest mall in our area (by far). Huge mall with 2 stories and a million shops; we got there early, but all the parking spaces were full, except for one (kind of).

Some idiot decided to double park their car. In a packed out parking lot. ON BLACK FRIDAY. Like bro, what the fuck are you doing? I was pissed, but I said you know what? I’m gonna park there anyway.

I squeezed into the left of the car and just barely fit. I didn’t box in the left of my car because I was in the corner of the parking lot; but I was almost up on the curb. I was parked properly though. Within the lines of the space. If the other car parked normally there wouldn’t have been an issue.

So we got out and were laughing about how that moron who parked there was gonna have to get in on the passenger side. Then some woman who looked to be in their 50’s passed us and said “you didnt box me in did you?” And I was like “uhhh no” and we kept walking.

30 seconds later we were about to enter the mall when I just had a feeling she was following us. So I turned around and there she is like 20 feet behind us pointing and yelling something (probably wanting me to move so she could get in her car). But I was like nah fuck you lmao. I said “RUN” to my boys and we ran into the mall and up an escalator and into a random store. Didn’t see her after that.

We went back out to the car to drop off some stuff we bought before going back in. The double parked car was gone and someone had parked there normally. I was worried that the woman was gonna sit there waiting for us and scream at us when we came out but luckily she was gone.

My friends said we shouldn’t have ran but if you’re gonna park like a fucking idiot I think that’s on you. And what am I supposed to do? Go find a different parking spot even though I parked correctly so someone who tried taking two spaces can get in their vehicle comfortably? That seems dumb to me
