Last min Black Friday purchase, plz halp.
I thought I was going to pull the trigger on the Ender 5 Plus and replace the hothead because I see PETG has issues with this printer. Now I’m rethinking. The problem is my budget and the build area I need.
—Build area needs to be at least 305mm x 305mm. Preferably more (that’s why the Ender 5 Plus was my choice) —I’m printing transparent plant pots for indoor/outdoor use, the PETG filament is important because of that.
Any suggestions within the next hour would be great! I found the Ender 5 Plus for 400. I’m willing to drop close to 600 total. It’s quite an expensive mistake to make, and I’m a plant enthusiast, kind of out of my depth. I am seeking some reassurance that these PETG issues are fixable with modifications (and suggestions for mods) or alternative options if possible. 🙏
