Boyfriend said vag smells “bad” like BO.

Idk if this is the right subreddit but I feel like it’s the only place I can ask / talk about this without feeling judged.

I just got home from work and asked my boyfriend if I smelled bad. He made a face and said yes; and that I smelled like BO. I asked him to elaborate and he said that it smelled like how his armpits do when he doesn’t put on deodorant. Not as strong but the same idea. I asked him if it smelled like sweat? He said yes. Then proceeded to say that if I wanted to have sex I’d have to shower. He used the words “bad” “stinks” and “BO”.

I know our hooha’s don’t always smell the best… but idk I wasn’t expecting for him to say that and it’s affecting the way I’m acting towards him right now. Is this normal? Have you guys experienced anything like this?
