When I turned 40, I began developing new food allergies & contact dermatitis. Have you?

Greetings Reddit! I’ve noticed over the past 3 years (after turning 40) my skin is breaking out.

It will clear up for a spell (a few weeks) and then flare up in accordance to the extreme weather changes in Virginia.

I’ve also noticed bakers chocolate exacerbates this condition along with other “garbage foods.”

My go to is the dependable smoothie and salad. Raw veggie juices and little to no meats.

I do not drink alcohol, I smoke tobacco. Quitting. (I’m suspicious the chemicals in cigarettes could also be a factor) duh. However, I’ve smoked since I was 11 years old.

I hydrate up to a gallon of water a day and do not drink soda.

Open to thoughts and suggestions.

The great news, I’ve lost over 90 pounds when I quit alcohol in 2020 and I now am active.

It is this weird acne that comes and goes that is bothersome.

Thank you Internet. Do your thing , Reddit. Virtue and Brotherly Love M
