The absolute best recap of the story prior to book 5.
Firstly, I have no affiliation to this channel but the nearly 3 hours I spent listening to the recap they made impressed me so completely that I think they deserve as much engagement as I can possibly drum up for them, it was truly an amazing video.
It covers the Roshar in general, the deep history of the world and the solar system, and the events of books 1-4.
Not only is the video extremely comprehensive but it is also extremely well conveyed. Topics flow brilliantly from one thing to another related thing all the way through. The dictation is extremely clear and easy to listen to and they do a fantastic job of imparting the climactic moments of the books with their own mini moments of gravitas in the recounting. I learned so much that I 'knew' but hadn't internalised from my own reading. And even though I listened to the whole thing, there are visual aids throughout that, just from clicking through at the end, I feel would be very useful.
If you are a fan of Sanderson's Cosmere you own it to yourself to listen to this.
