AITA for being hurt and frustrated that we’re no longer going on a family cruise?

I (22F) and my boyfriend (30M) had planned to go on a cruise. Originally, it was supposed to include my family, but they couldn’t make it. After that, we decided to go with his family instead, which made sense, and I was still really excited for the trip.

Now, his family has also backed out due to them having a lot of things occurring in their personal lives so the whole cruise is off. I understand why it happened, but I’m feeling hurt and frustrated because I was looking forward to it. I’ve had a rough semester and was really excited to have something relaxing and fun to look forward to.

What’s bothering me most is that I assumed we would still plan something for just the two of us, even if it wasn’t the cruise. But now it feels like nothing is being planned, and I feel disregarded in the process.

I haven’t fully expressed how I feel to him yet. We’re supposed to be talking later, but I’m also super stressed out from exams and life. But I can’t help wondering if I’m overreacting. Am I the asshole for being upset about how this turned out?
