Seasonal driver helper

Applied for this job a while ago. Randomly last week got a text asking if I was still interested and to text asap they gave me an employee id number and they said I’m officially an employee I was like ok wow now they are saying they will send me an assignment tomorrow morning ( no specific time) im just wondering is this still a helper position and I don’t remember how I opted in to get paid it just seems unorganized….
