How did your guys get a handle on depression and do well anyways
In my college, you need a C or higher to pass and the highest grade I have rn is a B- and the prof hasn't graded all the assignments I half assed/didn't turn in. I'm very likely going to fail all of my classes. I used to be a good student, I was never the smartest but I turned all my work in on time and did well. But this year, I've turned into a failure. I've deteriorated further and further as the semester went on. I have a heap of completely half assed assignments that don't meet the minimum word count requirements. It's not that I don't have time, I do have time, I just struggle to make myself do things I don't want to do when like 90% of my thoughts are about how I'm a failure ans a horrible person and I should just kill myself. It's hard to care about my future when i don't even want to be alive. I'm glad my college has private rooms in the dorms because I have trash all over my floor and dishes piled up and bloody razors and bandaids in random places i don't even remember where. I have bipolar but lots of people with mental illnesses are still successful so I know that's a poor excuse for being a failure.
So the advice I'm asking is for other depressed people how do you pick yourself up by the bootstraps and stop being a failure?
Tldr I'm a useless depressed lazy bitch who needs to be less lazy
