Has the cellular reception gone downhill over the past few years?

No matter where I go either my calls are garbled or we can’t hear each other. And if not using the phone just basic googling takes forever to load a page. It never used to be like this. Full disclosure I’m ok Lucky mobile and have been for about 7 years and never had a single issue up until the end of the pandemic. Anyone else?
