NYU Recruited Athlete Rejected

Hi everyone, I was rejected today from my dream school, NYU, and I am in shambles. I was a projected recruit for track and field and had a pretty strong (in my opinion) application. (Junior Olympic All-American, Co-founder of a nonprofit for volunteering, Independent stock investor, Head of Marketing for an entrepreneurship competition team (won $500 and awards), on the board for clubs, worked many hours at my job, and a strong essay and supplemental.)

The coach (assistant coach) told me he submitted his support for me and even mentioned that I was a top-three prospect for ED1. I applied to Stern (Ik is a long shot) but I also applied to around 6 alternate majors across multiple schools and even signed up for the Liberal Studies Core.

I'm pretty sure there is absolutely nothing I can do at this point except move on from being flat-out rejected and not even waitlisted or deferred.

Anyone experience this??
