question regarding nvidia DLSS

i have several hundred hours in the game and just recently learned that apparently DLSS isn't recommended for multiplayer shooters and i suspect it might be why sometimes fights end abruptly with the other guy at very low health (other explanation would be lag but i have fiber internet with low latency). i have a 8 months old pc with very good specs playing at 1440p 240hz. without DLSS i get between 120-140 FPS on seoul at max graphical settings so it means DLSS generated half of my frames? without it the game feels less smooth but will i get better k/d with it? i don't know what i should do
