Forgiven!

I made 120th payment on 11/21 (June/July ineligible so technically 122nd on 11/21😼) and my employer electronically signed on 11/23. My SAid payment count was then updated to 118 and I was absolutely sweating, super stressed that I wouldn’t get approved before the looming new administration.

Not sure if this had anything to do with it but I am not a phone person so 2 days ago I sent a message to Mohela asking for a deferment or forebearance on further payments, explaining I had made my 120th PSLF payment and was just waiting for the last 2 to be counted. Tonight I logged into StudentAid and I have been forgiven!! 120 payments counted, I got the green banners of relief!

I’ve been an ER nurse for 16 years.. my years as a travel nurse didn’t count (I traveled before covid so no I didn’t get rich!).. hence why it took me so long. I cannot believe it finally happened, if you are this close, hang in there.. I feel like they are processing quickly to get us taken care of!
