The only 2 reasons our notoriously trigger happy government wouldn’t instantly shoot these “drones” down:

Let me preface by saying the US government has literally 1000s of close up high render Tiny4K quality pictures/videos of these things via satellite (and every other person/item/creature on planet Earth except deep in the ocean), so whatever they are I feel like the fact that they’re not instantly shooting them down confirms that they’re either not from another country (or from our planet in general) or another country has advanced so far behind the scenes that they CAN’T TELL it’s another country. So following that thread, here’s what I consider the only two explanations:

1 - They’re ours. If this is true, and the US government is willing to scare/confuse the public AND let the rest of the world know we have this specific advanced tech (no heat signature, makes other equipment faulty, silent, crazy flight capabilities, etc) when the ongoing global tech race is notoriously clandestine, then they are DESPERATE. I don’t know if they’re looking for something, if they’ve already identified something they’re trying to find but can’t, it’s a psy-op to prep us for some future event, they want to pass new legislature as a result, etc, but any which way, this is a crazy out of character move for our government who usually just keeps all these lies and obfuscation way more under wraps. Very scared about what they’re trying to find/do if they’re willing to go this far and keep 99% of our population (including state government) out of the loop.

2 - They are not ours and the government has no idea what will happen if they engage so they are doing nothing. Now whether this means (as I mentioned above) another country has lapped us in the tech race or (and as a true believer in some type of NHI existing) it truly is NHI, both of these scenarios are also terrifying. While I have always believed in NHI, now that it seems closer than ever before it is a bit overwhelming. And if another country is that far ahead of us then damn that sucks too in terms of who’s in power in this country and the heightened state of paranoia and fear between world leaders today.

I myself am feeling scared, nervous and a little excited about this whole situation even though there’s a good chance it blows over and the world forgets about it in a month. Anyone out there feel the same, agree/disagree? Just wanted to put my thoughts out there to discuss because none of my friends/family really care and I’m eager to talk about it.
