Pc wifi connection drops all other devices OK

I have owned my pc for 2 years now and about 6-8 months ago I was having major wifi issues on it, after a pile of digging I decided to get a new wifi adapter. and for the past 6 months it has worked wonders but this past week I have been having issue with the connection dropping from 500 download 50 upload to 20-70 download and 30 upload. All other devices work perfectly fine in the same room. I have also tried many different fixes from the adapters driver to using command prompt. I am directly above my router and am wondering why this is happening. Thanks for any help
