Rye and whole wheat starter

I was wondering if using a combo of 50/50 rye and whole wheat for feeding my starter would have any downsides or what the effects would be on the potency of my starter.

I’ve been feeding 50/50 rye and AP at 100% every day and it’s been very consistent but I have a bag of whole wheat that I’m almost sure I won’t use so I was wondering if there would be any downsides or what changes what would happen if I did 50/50 rye and whole wheat at 100% to feed my starter.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!
