Pc repeatedly crashes after leaving it on sleep mode for a while.

Every time I leave my pc on sleep mode for longer than 1-2 hours, when I turn it back on my pc starts to crash repeatedly for seemingly no reason. This is the only major issue I have with my pc, and this is the only time it will crash on me. I’ve tried resetting bios, the cmos battery, installing a new bios, disconnecting and reconnecting cables, but none of that seems to work other than just turning the pc off for 1-2 days. Would this be more of a hardware or software issue?
