Games are laggy(2-3 fps) for some reason today even tho my graphics driver up to date

my graphics card is not heating/making sound but on task manager it says it is being used, i doubt it is the reason why all my games are laggy even tho my laptop functions normaly other times, this problem just started today. I updated all my graphics driver but this problem still persists, gtx 1650 ti
