end of the night / when the music's over

i was wondering why are those songs almost the same. Intrumentally its identical (or really similar), lyrically its diffrent. Do i have to understand it somehow or they just changed the lyrics after some time? if ill get an answer i'll prolly feel dumb that i havent noticed smth or whatever XD
