How to Modify End G-code and Limit Print Volume to avoid hitting a Pipe on Bambu Studio (Mac)?

Question

Hi folks,

I've placed my A1 mini 3D printer in a cabinet that also contains a water pipe. This positioning creates a challenge: if my printed objects are too tall, they may collide with the pipe when the Y-axis retracts to its home position at the end of printing.

Specifically Here’s what I’m trying to achieve:

  1. Avoid Y-axis Hitting a Pipe at the End of a Print:

At the end of each print, the Y-axis moves to its furthest position, causing it to hit a pipe. I want to edit the end G-code to stop this behavior and move the bed to a safer position instead. However, I can’t seem to find the “End G-code” section in Bambu Studio’s interface. Am I missing something? Is there a way to access and edit this, or do I need to export the G-code and modify it in a text editor?

  1. Limit Print Volume for YZ Axes:

During prints, I want to restrict the build volume for the Y and Z axes to prevent the printer from colliding with the same pipe. Is there a way to limit the printable area in Bambu Studio? If so, how can I set these boundaries?

I’m fairly new to G-code editing and 3D printing, so detailed steps or resources would be greatly appreciated
