D8 Residency Permit - Financial Requirements
Hi All,
So much like everyone else - I'm still awaiting for an AIMA appointment! But I'm not overly concerned as they seem to be working through the backlog and persistence is key...
I came here on a D8 Visa, employed by a company who were fine with me working remote.
I have since gone self employed (within the last month) as a consultant on a retainer and become a full tax resident in PT (so that the company outside PT doesn’tget stuck paying double Corporation Tax). And will submit Recibo Verdes and pay all that is due etc.
When it comes to my AIMA appointment though - they will want to see the last 3 months worth of income (invoices) for my self employed status.
My question is - if my appointment is in March, will they accept a payslip from 1 month employed (December) and then self employed invoices for January and February?
Aside from that I have everything else (bank account - fully funded, NIF, NISS, Atestado Residencia etc.).
