Options for chat with friends in private lobby

Hello all!! I'm a fairly new racer on gt7. I've been a gt fan since the early 2000s though. But I've only had a ps5 since may. My question is regarding chat. I've got a few buddies who also race in gt7, and we want to set up a monthly or bi-weekly race in a private lobby. We eould like to be able to talk to each other while racing/setting up our cars etc. But I don't want audio from the game to be through the headset. I'd like to still be able to use the 5.1 speaker set up i have for game audio. Is there a way to do this all through the ps5? Or would it be better to just get a Bluetooth ear bud and set up a phone call with everyone on it? I'm definitely not the techiest person there is so please explain as if I'm your 90 year old grandmother!!! Lol. Appreciate any and all suggestions and I'll see you all in the first corner pile up!!!
