My review of Alter DNA & fitness
I recently had my call with my fitness advisor, Sonia, and I learned a lot. She walked me through my DNA results and explained how my body responds to different types of exercise. I’m better suited for cardio than strength training, which explains why my current routine hasn’t been as effective as I’d hoped. I was also surprised to learn that my body responds well to eating more fat—not something I expected.
Sonia also mentioned their free nutrition report, so I asked for it, and I’m so glad I did. It had detailed information, from my ideal macronutrient breakdown to how my body processes carbs and fats. The tips were super practical, like sticking to a calorie range, focusing on anti-inflammatory foods, and incorporating more balance between workouts and recovery. I attached the report here—please ignore my weight, no judging! 😳😳😳. Sonia said they’ll send it to anyone interested in more details about what to eat to reach your goals, so definitely ask for it if you’re curious about nutrition.
I’m still deciding whether to invest in the entire system since the holidays stretched my budget, but I’m really excited that they now offer a version without the screen—it’s perfect for my small apartment. Overall, I felt like Sonia genuinely cared about helping me succeed, not just trying to sell me something. She was super understanding when I said I needed to talk it over with my husband, and she made the whole process really comfortable.
