I feel that readers offering advice for those who are no-contact with their ex, or trying to 'win their ex back', can enter some very troubling waters ethically. Thoughts on this?

Discussion

For context, I recently saw a reader posting to offer paid readings for no-contact exes and it kind of struck a chord with me as someone who is no-contact with my abusive ex.

I just struggle to see how this would be a healthy thing to offer at all, and it kind of leads to my questioning of spell work or other methods to 'get your ex back!'. I don't want to come off as callous or uninformed, so I am hoping to hear some other insights on the topic.

Is there a way to go about this ethically? I understand being hung up on a past partner, but especially in a no-contact situation, would it not be best practice to avoid giving false hope or encouraging behavior that might further affect either party in a negative way? Also, for the readers that are not 'brutally honest', I feel like it might lead the reader to feeding the seeker information that does not encourage them to take accountability for what happened/move on if they were the person that damaged the relationship to the point of no-contact.

I'm open to alternative opinions though, of course. Just something I've been pondering lol!
