i need to switch from chromeos to tiny10 but i got a problem (and by the way yes it's a chromebook not a windows pc)

See i have literally have everything i need (usb drive with 32gb and ventos) problem is when i CTRL+ALT+T to open the terminal and type "shell" it says that the sudo commands will not succed by default, which prevents me from making my command work. Some guy on YouTube said that my dev mode wasn't fully on and i forgot the recovery mode but i clearly did it using the extension (chromeos recovery utility) and then putting it on the ventoy zip. Yet still doesn't recognize the ISO, by the way if i ever try to use the utility extension it will ask me the model so i am not trusting that, so am i missing something? serious replies please.
