Ironman in need of direction
I have an ironman account I've been working on incrementally for about a year.
Here is a summary of my situation, which I'll follow with a few goals, then beg the question.
-I am working toward SotE. See stat picture for my progress. its... going. Almost done with farm and hunter. Sorta. Herb and construction are taking so long...
-Im not great at grinding. I get pretty bored after about 2 hours. I tend to go for more engaging activities like Rumors for hunter or Mahognay Homes for Construction, or otherwise full blown AFK like motherlode mine for my mining. Needing to do a lot of repetitive clicking is a big no go for me.
-I wind up putting Runescape down for months at a time because I get so burned out on the hard grind to SotE requirements. And oh- i know- level 70 is NOTHING. Ive heard it all before.
-Im obsessed with Settled. his series like Swampletics, McTile, 1hp nightmare mode and 1 inv. slot are what inspire me to play.
Fact is, i have only a free hours a few days a week between fulltime work, family, and sleep. I enjoy runescape, but the grind is close to making me shelve the game again.
So, two questions.
- Any tips for me on getting to my SotE requirements? Any sort of "Oh my gosh, how have you not tried "X" for (Skill) yet?" im working toward Miscellania, but the fishing and cooking grind is in progress... But ill take any advice!
- I would like to play around with bosses, or any sort of combat thing where i can get cool stuff. Watching Settled do barrows is cool, i could try that, dunno if im ready though. Or any other cool bosses i could smash in between the grind? Or anything like that?
- Any quests or items i should focus on to make my journey more fun? Major ones ive done include- Mournings End P2, Contact!, Darkness of Hallowvale, Fairytale p1, Fremmenik isles/trials (hence my nezzy helm), Giant Dwarf, Monkey Mad. 1, Dragon Slayer 1, Edgaers Ruse... to name a few.
Thanks for any suggestions about what i can do next, or how to make my grind to SotE easier.
