Squidgame Season 2 is unfair?

So, the frontman said in season 1 that the most important aspect of the Squid Game facility is fairness and no discrimination in any way.

How is this true if the frontman is in the games and in such close proximity to just one group of players. He is there, closely observing 456 and also has no possibility of dying there (that’s what I was thinking), so him being inside Gi-Hun‘s group is lowering their chances and giving them an unfair advantage, right?

And also, how is Gi-Hun re-entering fair?

Does that mean this time the games have another purpose? Maybe it’s pivotal, maybe it’s not that deep.
