Can I get a learners permit at 22

AskFlorida

Hi! So, I'm 22 years old and am finally financially stable enough to get my license. I don't know how to drive yet, which would from my understanding mean I should get a learners permit, learn, and THEN get my license. However, because I'm over the age of 18, I'm not sure if I'm too old to get a permit or if I have to go straight into getting a license. Could someone help me out here?
