Fire teams and clans

SO just got into D2 and enjoying it quite a bit, but just getting frustrated at the lack of people playing co-op game modes like crucible or vanguard, especially low power levels.
Is there a way to find clans to join, or anyone have suggestions about the best times to try search in these functions? I'm from South Africa so usually a 2 hour difference to Europe (England), so I'll be keen for a clan that plays around that time range of 18h00 - 23 h00.
