Solo Queuing Competitive: The most miserable experience in the world.
Hey, I'm someone that's been gaming for a long time, and ever since Overwatch 1 came out I've loved playing games competitively. 100s to 1000s of hours in Overwatch, Fortnite, CS:GO and CS2, and League. Since Overwatch has become pretty damn garbage I have wanted to find a good replacement for a bit and, as a marvel fan, Marvel Rivals was able to do just that, but here's the problem. All of my friends like to play this game purely for fun and nothing else, nothing against that whatsoever as that is completely valid, but that means I have nobody I actually have good chemistry with to play comp. Obviously I will have my bad games here and there, I can't deny that, I will also have great teams.. BUT then, seemingly out of nowhere I will have
- The most entitled DPS ever saying heals are garbage as he runs into a full team and is going triple negative.
- Unaware supports unable to keep track of the team.
- Tanks that think they run the place, telling everyone what to do, just to go negative and didn't protect the team whatsoever.
- And of course when people refuse to fill roles
See, I can play at least one character in each role well, but sometimes it's more than just one person making it an EXTREMELY miserable experience as I just have to go through the whole time with a (most likely) horrible and toxic teammate(s).
I had to vent about this somewhere because I can get 3 great games in a row doing amazing, and then suddenly it all starts going to hell and I can't rank up.
