GT1 rim first use pairing help

Long shot.. Anyone got a video on how to pair the GT1 rim with an M10 wheelbase? I'm just trying to help an online friend. He bought a secondhand gt1 rim and m10 base. He's gonna sell it again at a loss because he said the base is working but the rim is a brick. I asked if he paired it but things get lost in translation because we aren't talking in English. Short answer is no, he hasn't paired it and now a bit depressed.

I have an alpha mini and a GT1 rim, but I can't re initiate the pairing for some reason, so I can't video myself. It seems the pairing only happens if I uninstall everything and start all over from zero, which I'm not willing to do.

I am also aware that the app is different for alpha series and M10, so there's a big difference.

Just one last hope, if anyone has link for written instructions in Chinese on how ro pair a GT1 wheel with an M10 base?
