Charging via monitor

Hello guys, I've recently bought my first macbook air m2 and today I bought also monitor Dell P2723DE. When I connect monitor and macbook via usb-c cable, the laptop is always charging, even he is 100% charged. I am scared, that with constantly overcharging, I will destroy my battery.

Do you have any advice for me?
