What was it all about? F/43 and M/42 dating

Dear friends,

So we had a first date after meeting on a dating app and texting for a week. I, F/43, thought he was amazing and I thought he, M/42, liked me too. I also noticed he is still active on a dating app and the next day he wouldn't text me for 6 hours, yet he would be going on the app... We planned a second date, but I had doubts about his trustworthiness. I started holding back, so he quadruple texted. I told him I wasn't sure it's a good idea to meet, he asked why, I said I had a feeling he's still looking for someone else. He asked why and that we didn't have a talk about being exclusive. And went on that he likes me and wants to meet. I felt mad, degraded, jealous that he thinks it's ok to be doing whatever with others when he has me and just texted him to have a great weekend. He responded with a snotty emoji saying thanks, you too I guess.

Did I overreact? I just can't be myself, happy and kiss him knowing he can be sleeping and texting with others. I'm not a rug. And waiting around until HE decides he wants me? What is he? A king?
