I've never wanted so badly to be a man

Ive always wanted to be a boy because being a girl sucked in many practical ways. Being a boy just seemed so appealing to me. Being a girl means limitations. Any boy that I saw as a friend has only seen me as a piece of meat, someone to get with, when all I wanted was a friend. Men get to take up so much space. They talk loudly and gesture largely and they are listened to. No matter what I make of myself I will never be equal. I just want to be a person, I don't want all that's attached to being female.
