[Star Wars/fandom/nonfandom] What happens when the good guys win?
Fandom or nonfandom accepted, more interested in the themes than anything! I've got a lot of jumbled ideas rattling around in my head for any number of character possibilities, so please let me know if there's something you'd like to hear - otherwise hit me with what you've got and let's build together! Some tropes I dearly love:
- Enemies to lovers (anything with a lot of initial distrust is great); unlikely allies
- Hurt/comfort, angst, whump
- Redemption / corruption
- Polar opposites, characters who come from different worlds, culture shock
- The aftermath of war - punishment, rehabilitation, rebuilding, ALL of it
Star Wars is my primary fandom right now, and I'd love to write a few more stories there, especially in the post-Galactic Civil War/New Republic period, or the Old Republic era. I've got a fair amount of knowledge of the lore, both Legends and canon (with some preference for the latter), but I don't mind being flexible, especially where Disney canon is concerned, if it makes for a more interesting plot. I'm not opposed to "alternate history" scenarios if we want to stick together two characters who might not realistically meet.
That said: I also love workshopping original worlds! I enjoy sci-fi, sometimes dark fantasy worlds, dystopian - most anything exciting, dark or gritty, and well-written. I might be able to be talked into an alternative fandom if there's one you have your heart set on. If you have an idea, please, hit me with it! I'd prefer OC x OC even in a fandom setting.
I usually write male characters but could be talked into female. For any romantic relationship I prefer MxF, but I also dearly love a good platonic or found-family relationship with any combination of genders. I'm also happy to write side characters as needed, though it's a responsibility I'd prefer to share versus take on entirely.
I'm 25+ and female. For my own comfort I'd prefer other 25+ partners, or at least 21+, and I do prefer other female writers based on some past experiences. I'll state upfront that I'm pretty selective and if I'm not interested in writing with you, it's almost certainly me, not you.
I don't write NSFW/smut. I can't verify for sure that you're 18+ and even if I could, I just don't enjoy that kind of writing. I'm also not always the fastest responder. For my part, I'll never pester you for replies and I've got no expectations or demands of reply speed: sometimes you have inspiration and sometimes you don't, and RP should never feel like an obligation. I'd always rather wait for a reply someone had time to write, and wanted to write. Also entirely ghost tolerant. Sometimes you're not feeling it and I don't need an excuse.
I think that's all the dealbreakers, and at least the bare bones of what I love and am looking for in an RP. Sorry to give you so much to wade through - I'm nicer than I sound, I swear. If you're still here, I'd love to chat and I'm happy to provide writing samples!
