CMV: Asians in America tend to be more successful than other races because they are self-serving

I want to start by saying I am an Asian myself and I understand this may give a negative outlook on Asians but I hope that’s not what this is doing. I am to trying to explain the cultural differences and the personality patterns of Asians as opposed to other races. I have concluded on a couple tendencies for Asians that could be connected to their successful nature:

  1. Different views on charitable giving + civic mindedness. It is emphasized to “help yourself and your family but not others”
  2. Asians will do what it takes to take the “short route” and become successful. It can often feel like cheating in a way
  3. Does not share their failures as it can be embarrassing to admit to them
