Need help getting back my great-great-grandmother's China cabinet!

It's a very long story, but I'll do my best to keep in the relevant details.

My grandma (62) moved to Alaska around 10 years ago, and because of my mother's (40) physically abusive husband, she entrusted her heirloom china and china cabinet to my Uncle (~37?) be cause she couldn't take it with her. The understanding was it was still HERS and he was just keeping it safe until she could move back to Cali.

Five years ago my mom and I went into a DV shelter, then eventually Mom found us somewhere to live. Practically immediately my Uncle returned all of the heirloom china to my mom since it was meant to be left with her, but wouldn't give back the cabinet (that he managed to break already).

My grandma moved in with my mom and I a couple of months ago, and has been trying to get that cabinet back from my Uncle the entire time. As it turned out, he had GIVEN AWAY the china cabinet to my grandma's old "best friend" Carol (not real name). They have both still refused to return the cabinet.

Now Carol is planning to move to Tennessee, and isn't even taking the cabinet with her. She's going to either sell or auction it off before she moves, which absolutely devastates my grandma. My Uncle refuses to get the cabinet back and told my grandma to talk to Carol about it.

When my grandma called Carol begging for the china cabinet, Carol said that my grandma needs to talk to my Uncle about it since she gave him the cabinet and hung up immediately. My Uncle refuses to answer grandma's calls, and grandma has been crying nonstop because she NEEDS her mama's china cabinet. She's sobbing that she'll take them to court if she has to.

I'm unemployed and currently out of school, so I'm essentially my grandma's caretaker. Her health can be really touch and go because of small frequent seizures and occasional fainting episodes. I hate seeing her cry, and I REALLY want to help get the heirloom cabinet back to her so that she can rest a bit easier. Is there anything we can do???? Any advice is appreciated and desperately needed.
