Beardie lost full nail 😟

I’m so sorry for the lack of pictures but he’s sleeping right now and I don’t want to wait to ask this. My boy lost one of the nails on his back leg a while ago, leaving a little nub-nail type thing. It was small and nail shaped, but didn’t really look like one. I freaked out when I saw it, but there was no blood or visible discomfort from him. Its been healing well, but today I noticed that he’s COMPLETELY MISSING IT NOW. I know its common for them to lose nails, but I’m concerned because I looked inside the area the nail would be, and saw what looked like dried blood squiggle. There’s no bleeding on the outside, the little squiggle is the only thing red, and he doesn’t show discomfort, but I am SCARED. I doubt my mom will let me take him to the vet (she only lets our dogs go ?) so I’m working with limited options. Please help 😭🙏
