Why do I SEVERELY lack energy all of the time?
My New Year’s resolution is to be more productive & pick up hobbies (that will actually stick). The problem is, I grossly lack the energy & motivation to do this. I feel like I am already failing & want to give up despite only being a week in to the New Year.
For context, I have tried & failed so many meds (stimulants & non-stimulants). As of right now the only thing that has helped with minimal side effects of brand Vyvanse that my ins conveniently will not cover. Thank you American healthcare! Woohoo!
Anyways, I’ve had my labs done multiple times with no abnormal results minus my vit. D level which was sorted out.
My day to day life is working, going home, then laying in bed for the rest of the day. My days off consist of me laying in bed.. all day. I’m horribly embarrassed & ashamed to type that. I try to tell myself that I am lazy, but when I do push myself to be active I oftentimes get headaches, lightheadedness, and general weakness WHICH SUCKS and demotivates me more.
My psych tells me I need to exercise more, so I try— I really try. For about a month and a half I worked my way up to being active for 30-45 minutes 5-6 days out of the week but reaped no reward (I did jump roping & random at home workouts).
I don’t know at this point. I want to cry & deem myself unfixable. Any tips are much appreciated for how to overcome this, I am at such a loss.
In case you’re curious, my diet is not great but I am actively working on that, my job is pretty sedentary & I don’t get much activity aside from that, I do consume caffeine but not in absurd amounts (if I don’t have coffee I get pounding migraines).
