Upgrading 6 pro to 9 pro XL questions

Was not planning on the upgrade but damaged the 6 pro so going for new.

Two big questions.

1. How difficult and time to change info and apps from one phone to the next?

2. What improvements will I find going from 6 pro to 9 pro XL?
