Thunderbird stopping Fedora's KDE Plasma from shutting down, rebooting, logging off
Hey everyone,
I've been distro-hopping for my Thinkpad T480 after switching out of Linux Mint and have so far landed on Fedora KDE. It's been working great so far apart from the fact, I cannot shut down my laptop because Thunderbird. I get a notification on the bottom right that Thunderbird has prevented me from logging out and it asks me if I want to cancel my logout or logout anyway. However, this message is not consistent and oftentimes doesn't show up at all.
Is there any way of forcing the logout and/or shutdown when I input the GUI command on the panel? The reason Thunderbird is even running is because I won't be notified or receive emails through Thunderbird unless it's running (in the forefront or minimized). Right now I have "Startup Minimizer" and "Minimize on Close" to prevent it from being shutdown whenever I click the close button (so that I keep getting emails).
Any advice? It's either this, or I switch to GNOME and setup a desktop like interface.
