Just got told the prologue to my book sucks, any suggestions?
here's the entire prologue:
The Tyrant in Crimson, sits in his throne awaiting for the Catalyst to reach its full power, so he can intertwine the realities and dimensions he loathes so deeply. He hates life because of all of the happiness he could never obtain, he thinks it is better to destroy it. He is bored so he will use the power of the Catalyst to combine all realities together and watch them battle to the death. It is a cruel form of entertainment. Once he is satisfied, he will crush it all.

It’s an average day in Tokyo, Japan and the two best friends Nikushimi and Sekiryu are walking around, bored, looking for something to do. “Hey, Sekiryu, check this out!” Nikushimi yells. “Yeah what’s up?” Sekiryu responds. “Looks like that game you love is getting a big update soon.” Nikushimi says. Sekiryu grins as he says. “Hell yeah, finally some new content, it’s been forever since the last update.” Nikushimi looks over at Sekiryu, then turns to watch a group of people walk down the crosswalk in front of them. They stop at a small coffee shop to grab something to drink. As the two watch people pass by out the window, Sekiryu pulls out his phone and plays the game Nikushimi mentioned. Nikushimi has always been a people watcher, he likes to judge people in his head and if there is someone who looks strange enough to strike humour to Nikushimi, he points it out to Sekiryu and they joke about it. “Holy shit, that guy’s got a big ass nose don't you think?” Nikushimi says as he taps Sekiryu’s shoulder. “Damn, you’re not lying huh?” says Sekiryu as he looks up and examines the guy passing by.

“After ages of waiting, the Catalyst has reached the peak of its power.” The Tyrant says with a booming tone. He rises from his throne, conjures his staff and walks over to the machine containing the Catalyst. The Catalyst is a black diamond that shines brightly white, and has the power of the gods. He grabs the diamond and places it atop the staff, it shakes and wobbles but then fixes itself into place. He walks over to the front of his throne and states, “Now it is time for all of existence to consolidate.” He then slams his staff onto the ground, not even a second later the area around him starts to shake.

Suddenly, a loud, thundering sound catches Nikushimi and Sekiryu's attention, they get up, walk to the window and look up in horror and confusion. Little cracks appear as the sky begins to shatter. Nikushimi turns to Sekiryu and they stare at each other for a moment in awe before Nikushimi stutters “Is this th-the fucking rapture?!” For a moment Sekiryu is too petrified to speak, he manages to get the words “I don’t have a damn clue.” out of his mouth. The cracks get substantially larger until the sky eventually shatters. Thousands of monstrous entities, of all different sizes and appearances, start to plummet from the sky. A massive, lanky, thin entity drops onto a car, crushing it and making the car alarm blare. The creature leaps onto an innocent bystander frozen in fear, tearing their head off in one swipe. Abruptly, the screens on the surrounding buildings go blank, then shine bright white with a star shaped logo appearing. The logo says StarPoint, an organization unheard of by all and known by few. The screen then cuts to an alert that says, “Be aware, reality is unstable. All entities are going to be contained shortly. Take shelter somewhere secluded. You are not safe.” After the broadcast plays for a minute or so, it shuts off. “What the hell is a StarPoint? And what the HELL are these monsters?” Sekiryu yells at Nikushimi. “I don’t know, but all I know is that we need to get the hell out of here! NOW!” Nikushimi yells as he grabs Sekiryu by the arm and runs. As they are running they hear a loud noise, the sound of glass shattering. They look up in horror as they see him, the Tyrant in Crimson, staring down upon them with a smirk of joy and evil.
