Restarting wegovy

I started wegovy in July 2024. I lost around 30lbs in 3 months. Then I started having severe stomach pain. At first I was diagnosed with an ulcer. Then it was discovered I had gallstones. I was told to stop taking the wegovy when the stomach issues started. After meeting with the surgeon she said I could continue it until like a week before my surgery but at that point I’d been off it for like a month so I decided to wait until after my gallbladder removal to restart. I had my gallbladder out and since I was feeling fine a few weeks later I sent a message to my doctor to restart the wegovy. My doctor was out but another doctor sent in a script for .5 even though I specifically asked for .25 multiple times. I went ahead and took the .5 and I am SO SICK. I just took my second dose of it and it was even worse than the first. I’m not sure if my side effects are different this time because I no longer have my gallbladder or if it’s because I started on the .5 dose or maybe both. Idk what I’m expecting from here—maybe just similar experiences? I’m strongly considering switching to zepbound as I’ve heard the side effects aren’t as bad as wegovy.
