Does it matter what store they are returned to?

Purchased pair of docs about 2 weeks ago from in store, now i'm not able to travel to that store but there is another store closer by. Will it be ok to return to the store that is closer? return policy seems a bit ambiguous on this? in the UK btw. Thanks!
