Deadline Missed

The nbis email for background questionnaire hasn't arrived yet and the deadline was already passed. In the background questionnaire mail in the applicant portal it said that if the deadline is passed my application would be withdrawn. My mistake was that I did not check the applicant portal and due to being told the nbis email for the background questionnaire will arrive on my email, additionally, the medical examination date was set up late due my name being misspelled multiple times on the application making the appointment setting taking two days longer for the medical examination. I already contacted the caseworker but I'm not sure that can do anything. Is my only option starting all over again? Thank you and have a good day.
