Advice needed

So I’ve been with my boyfriend for 10 years we have 2 kids. He’s upset because I don’t feel like having sex with him lately just that time of the month where my hormones are low. He’s been wanting to do it in the middle of the night while I’m asleep and I get upset and tell him no because I AM ASLEEP! He feels as if I don’t find him attractive anymore and he has to “force me” to do it with him. Which is not true we had sex last time Sunday and before that it was about a week ago. Last night he tried again I just couldn’t, I felt like I am being used as a sex object its the most horrible feeling. Idk what to do because I love him but it’s crazy I can’t feel like I don’t want to have sex without him being upset.
