[LotM V2] When does Klein stop taking side quests?

Just finished vol1 and have been reading a few chapters into vol2.

Not sure what else I'm expecting, but does Klein ever stop taking these "side quests"? In vol1, we spend so much time with the Nighthawks essentially taking on side quests from random people. Although everything connects in the end, I'm just starting to get bored of it.

From the first few chapters of vol2, Klein becomes a detective and helps find a lost cat, then starts helping some teenage boy 😭 is this all that's gonna happen?
